The team tries to track down their latest suspect, Mervin, but begin to believe that someone else is pulling the strings; Aileen reconciles with Theo, who is spurred to take advice from Dr. Ray about his Huntington's disease.

The Gone

The killer leaves clues for the team to decipher, but they'll have to heal their past wounds to pursue the lead; as Sinead reaches her breaking point, a new, unlikely suspect emerges.

As Diana and Theo grapple with the murder case now on their hands, they discover that both Aileen and Derry were lured to the hut by the same person suspected to be the real Mountain Murderer; Theo confesses his feelings to a traumatized Aileen.

When a trashed car and abandoned phone are found near the hut Aileen disappeared from, the detectives realize that Aileen was with someone else before she was attacked and fled; as Theo and Diana begin to close in on the case, tragedy strikes.

When Irish journalist Aileen Ryan goes missing, Theo decides to stay in Mount Affinity and lead the search; he and Diana discover that Aileen may have gotten too close to the truth behind the historic Mountain Murders.
