Night falls in Louisiana as officers disturb a prolific burglar who escapes into gator-infested waters. Meanwhile, undercover detectives take to the Florida swamps to hunt down a wanted felon and police responding to a welfare call are taken by surprise. Later, a car chase in Arkansas ends up in flames and a deputy makes a big bird arrest.
