What's that saying, "all good things in the U.S. must be copied in the U.K." -- or something like that? The ratings-grabbing History series "Pawn Stars" has proven to be such a hit that it has spawned a British version, conveniently titled "Pawn Stars UK." The local shop featured -- near the Welsh/English border, in the town of Deeside -- is Royal Pawn and is run by Big Mark Manning, who says being a broker combines his two great passions: history and cold hard cash. Also prevalent on the show is Big Mark's good friend and business partner, Little Mark Holland and his son Marco, Big Mark's daughter Vicki, who is Royal Pawn's bookkeeper, and Simon Penworth, who is the shop's resident aficionado in militaria, antiquities and oddities.
