INFAST

A reflection on the connection each naturalist shares with the wild places they call home; stories of resilience, survival and dedication to nature; as they look forward, each naturalist reflects on the profound.

Love of the Wild

The Timeless Bond With Nature

The naturalists share how climate change impacts their environments and the traditions they cherish; with shifting weather patterns and the decline of certain wildlife populations, each individual faces new challenges in their respective regions.

Confronting Climate Change

As autumn turns to winter, the naturalists prepare for the harsh conditions ahead; the preparations each naturalist undertakes to endure the intense cold, whether by stocking food, reinforcing shelters.

Facing the Freeze

The naturalists reflect on the importance of preserving cultural practices that date back generations; from falconry in Austria to fishing in Finland, examining how each person stays connected to ancient techniques.
