Billing and Account Management

Payments

Pay your bill with Auto Bill Pay, over the phone, online, or by mail. Payment is due on or before the due date listed on your bill to avoid late fees and service interruption.

By phone: Call 833.499.1955 to make a payment through our automated system by following the voice prompts or with an agent. If you are enrolled in our national accounts program, call 800-496-4915 for assistance.

Auto Bill Pay: Automatically pay your bill each month using your checking account, debit card or credit card. Call  833.499.1955 to enroll in Auto Bill Pay, Electronic Funds Transfer, or to your update payment method.

By mail: Submit a check or money order, payable to DIRECTV, and include either your DIRECTV FOR BUSINESS account number on it or a copy of your bill statement remittance (bottom of bill), and mail the payment to the following address. This address is for payments only.

  3. Select either Checking account or Credit Card for payment method.
    1. For Checking – enter your bank’s routing number and checking account number.
    2. For Credit or Debit Card – use an existing card on file or select use another card.
  4. Review your information and select Pay Bill to complete.*

If your current balance doesn’t display online, check back. It takes a few days from the billing period close date before details are available online. For your protection and privacy, only the account owner can view and pay bills online.

If you sign up with a checking account, you may be eligible for a promotional offer. After you’ve enrolled in auto bill pay, you will see “No Payment Due” in the Amount Due section, along with confirmation of Auto Bill Pay enrollment in the remit section that your payment was charged on the statement date.

This  downloadable guide will help walk you through the line items and information listed on your bill.
You will see “No Payment Due” in the “Amount Due” section, along with confirmation of Auto Bill Pay enrollment in the remit section (bottom of your bill) that the payment was charged on the bill statement date.
User ID and passwords
To get started, you will need the following information. For detailed instructions, read our user guide.
  • Go to directv.com/myaccount. or https://www.directv.com/accounts/registration
  • Select product, DIRECTV connect via satellite
  • Enter your DIRECTV FOR BUSINESS account number
  • Enter your billing ZIP code
  • A valid email address is required to create your User ID. The email address must be unique for each online account that you create.*
    *For DIRECTV FOR BUSINESS remote app users, skip this step and utilize your existing user ID to sign into your account.
Get sign in help for your DIRECTV account including how to find your user ID and reset a password.

Retrieve your user ID from sign-in page
  • On the Sign in to DIRECTV page, select Forgot email or user ID
  • Enter your email address or account number
  • Select Continue
  • The user ID will be emailed to the email address on file

Tip: Your account number is located at the top left of your paper billing statement. Please contact the DIRECTV FOR BUSINESS support team at 1.888.388.4249 to change the user ID in case user ID is not accessible.

Reset your password from sign-in page
  • On the Sign in to DIRECTV page, select Forgot Password
  • Enter your User ID and Name and select Continue. Please enter your business name in the Last Name field.
  • Select the method to receive the one-time code and click Next
  • Enter the one-time code in the following screen and click Next
  • Enter the verification code sent to preferred option
  • Upon successful validation enter a new password and confirm it
  • Select Continue

Change your password from your Profile
  • Sign in at directv.com/myaccount
  • Select Profile
  • Select Change under Password
  • Enter your current password and new password. Confirm your new password and select Save Changes

Change your user ID from your Profile
  • Sign in at directv.com/myaccount
  • Select Change under User ID
  • Enter your new User ID and click Next
  • Select the method to receive the one-time code and click Next
  • Enter the one-time code in the following screen and click Next
  • Review changes in the next screen and click Submit

Tip: Please ensure that the User ID is updated if the designated person is no longer responsible for maintaining the business account. You can also add recovery phone, recovery email ID.
  • For your protection and privacy, only the account owner can view and pay bills online.
  • If you already have an online account setup, please check your password and reset it if necessary.

Note: commercial online self-service billing capabilities are only available to select public, business, and private viewing business customers. Customers that are billed by their authorized DIRECTV dealer or parent company, including national accounts, or are an institution or hospitality business will not be able to access their billing information online at this time.

If you’re renting or leasing your new space, complete the Landlord Approval Form to get DIRECTV installed. The completed Landlord Approval Form must be submitted to the installer before we can install and activate your service.

To transfer your DIRECTV FOR BUSINESS service to a new owner, complete the customer account and equipment transfer form, sign it, and email it to the business support team. Call 844.775.7442 if you need assistance.
Refer up to 10 businesses and get a $10/mo. bill credit for 10 consecutive months for each referred customer after they activate their DIRECTV business service. Plus, the newly referred business could also get a $10 bill credit/mo. credit for 10 months.1 Give them your DIRECTV FOR BUSINESS account number and have them call 888.388.4249.

1Commercial referral offer: Limit 10 referrals per 12-month period. Referral offer ends 12/31/25, on approved credit. You must refer new DIRECTV business customers by providing them with your DIRECTV account number. Referred customers must sign up for service and hardware using the phone number provided and mention your DIRECTV account number at the time order is placed. Referred customers must order their DIRECTV System by 12/31/25 and have their service activated with a 24-month agreement to a DIRECTV commercial base programming package within 30 days. Land-based phone line or Internet connection required. 4K resolution
4K resolution offers 4x as many pixels as 1080p, delivering lifelike image detail and seamless action sequences. 4K HDR (High Dynamic Range) improves both color and contrast of the 4K picture. The contrast ratio, coupled with the color enhancement, creates a picture that takes on an almost three-dimensional quality.
You’ll need a 4K TV or 4K HDR-compatible TV and a DIRECTV H26K Receiver to view content on channels 104, 105 and 106.
No. The H26K receiver is the only DIRECTV hardware required to set up 4K in a business.
4K programming on channel 104 is included, at no additional cost, in commercial base packages. Depending on your programming package, you may be able to view live events on channels 105 and 106.
Some TVs marketed as 4K are not 4K compatible. 4K TVs and 4K HDR-compatible TVs comply with HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 standards and have a refresh rate of at least 60 frames per second.

711 – Card is not active
Receiver has not been activated for DIRECTV service, or your receiver has received only part of the data it needs to decode our satellite signal.
721 – Service is not authorized (video)
The channel you're trying to watch is not included in your programming package, or your receiver is not processing the programming information on this channel.
722 – Service expired (video)
Receiver may not have the programming info for the channel you're trying to view.
724 / 725 / 726 – RID Issues
Receiver's ID doesn't match the ID listed in the system, or your receiver's ID doesn't match your receiver's access card information.
727 – Not available in your area
The sports program you're trying to watch is blacked out in your area.
744 / 745 / 746 – Card/Reader Prob
There might be a problem with your receiver's access card.
750 – Service Not Active
752 – Info Update Error
There might be a problem with your receiver's access card.
761 / 762 – Insert Your Access Card (video)

The regional sports network service is required to watch in-market seasonal sport games in certain markets. A regional sports fee applies in certain markets. We use your service address’s ZIP code to determine your regional sports networks. Local broadcast station programming is not available in all areas. Regional sports networks are available in BUSINESS XTRA PACK and COMMERCIAL XTRA™ PACK base programming packages and as separate a la carte packages. Subscription required.

FCO: FCO (Fire Code Occupancy) is the maximum building occupancy that is allowed in a commercial business and is typically validated through an FCO Certificate. FCO verification is required for Public Viewing establishments and is subject to verification prior to the activation of programming.

FCO documentation: The FCO Certificate must be issued by the fire department, local government office or zoning agency and include the establishment's name and address. The FCO Certificate is required to display/view seasonal sports and Pay Per View (PPV) events in public viewing establishments. DIRECTV must have your approved FCO certificate, or alternative FCO documentation must be on file, prior to the activation of any premium sports package.

Alternative FCO documentation:

  • Building occupancy certificate (must list the business’s maximum occupancy)
  • Business license stating number of seats and occupancy capacity
  • Letter from Fire Marshall, building inspector, or other city official – letter must be signed and on official city letterhead, and indicate specific occupancy
  • Certificate of Inspection stating capacity of business location (stating maximum capacity number)
  • Life Hazard Use Certificate of Registration (stating maximum capacity number)

FCO for Business and Private Viewing: FCO value is not required for Business and Private Viewing establishments.

EVO (Estimated Viewing Occupancy) is the total number of people, seated and standing estimate combined, that can view TV programming if a business establishment is at maximum capacity. Pricing for select sports packages is based on EVO.
The regional sports fee is applicable to programming packages that include regional sports networks.
Seasonal subscriptions will automatically renew each season, at the then prevailing rate, unless you call  844.775.7442 to cancel prior to the start of the season. Refunds are not available once the season begins. Monthly sports subscriptions automatically renew each month and can be cancelled at any time. Blackout rules and other conditions apply.
Remote app, sports bar finder & more
The remote app allows you to control your DIRECTV receivers in your business to see what’s playing on all your TVs from one screen. You’ll need an iOS or Android tablet to download the app for your device. Learn more about the app by viewing the remote app user guide.
DIRECTV Sports Bar Finder, allows patrons to search their current location for bars and restaurants for the game they want. Any bar/restaurant customer who receives ESPN or subscribes to any premium sports package will be included.

SignalSaverTM

The SignalSaver™ feature is now available to DIRECTV FOR BUSINESS customers. This new commercial feature allows business customers to continue viewing programming on an eligible internet-connected receiver during a weather event.
•If you experience a weather-related event, SignalSaver will occur on eligible channels with connected H26K and H44 receivers
On 240+ national channels across all markets*
•On local channels (ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, PBS) in select markets
•There is no cost for using the SignalSaver feature, but there may be costs associated with connecting an eligible commercial receiver to the internet. Data usage is based on your plan with your Internet Service Provider.
•During a weather-related signal outage, if you do not see SignalSaver in your receiver Settings, it indicates that your receiver is not eligible for SignalSaver.

Follow these steps to identify your commercial receiver model.
• Press the Menu on your DIRECTV remote
• Down arrow to Settings
• Right arrow to Info & Test and press Select
• Verify your receiver model
You must have a H26K or H44 receiver and each receiver using SignalSaver™ must be connected to the Internet. To find the model number for your receiver, using your remote control, go to Menu > Settings > Info & Test and next to Receiver (first line) the model number is listed as “H” followed by two numbers.
Using your DIRECTV receiver remote control, press the dash key (-) twice; dash key is located on the last row under the number 7 button. On your TV screen, look at the last line, Internet, to determine if your receiver is Connected or Not Connected.
The process depends on receiver model.
•Receiver model H44: you can attempt to connect; using your receiver remote control, press Menu > Settings > Internet Connect then select your wireless network and enter your password.
•Receiver model H26K: you may need a technician visit to assist with the setup.
If you have an Ethernet jack in the wall or can run Ethernet between the receiver’s Ethernet output (back of receiver) and your network router, try using a wired connection. Press the dash key (-) twice on your remote control. On the last line, you should see Internet Connected.
If an Ethernet connection is not accessible to the receiver location, then additional hardware is necessary to connect it, and this requires a technician visit.

“Broadcast provider has restricted access to this program”
The program or channel is not available to view over the Internet using SignalSaver. On your DIRECTV remote, press the Guide button to find a different program to watch, or you can select Watch in Low Res to view the programming in low resolution during a weather event.
The receiver will return in 30 minutes plus the end of the program to limit interruption of current program. If signal interruption occurred 10 minutes into a 60-minute program, then return would be 30 minutes + 20 minutes for a total of 50 minutes viewing over the Internet connection. If you change channels while viewing over the Internet connection, the session restarts on the new channel and the receiver returns in 30 minutes plus the end of the program.
Once the weather event ends and the satellite broadcast returns, if your receiver on SignalSaver has not returned to satellite, you can do a channel change or power on/off to return to the satellite broadcast.
Using a connected H26K or H44 receiver and your remote control, go to Menu > Settings > SignalSaver. This setting defaults to Always Ask; you can change this by arrowing up or down and pressing Select on your remote control. This setting is specific to each receiver; you’ll need to adjust it on each one.
