McBride: Murder Past Midnight

Mike McBride (John Larroquette), a disillusioned cop turned defense lawyer, is the dissenting vote that prevents a jury from convicting a woman of attempting to murder her husband. A mistrial is declared, and McBride is asked to represent the defendant when she is tried again. Also joining the defense team is Roberta Hansen (Marta Dubois), a police detective and McBride's old flame. But it soon becomes clear that everyone who knew the victim had a reason to try to kill him.
