Maisie Gets Her Man

Chicago showgirl Maisie Ravier (Ann Sothern) falls on hard times and begins a job working for Pappy (Allen Jenkins), a decent building manager. When she ends up getting them both fired, she lands a new position as an assistant to an aspiring comedian, Hap (Red Skelton). Hap's failings on stage, however, leave them in need of another job: working for a con man (Lloyd Corrigan) who bottles tap water. Eventually, Maisie and Hap fall for each other, but he still has a fiancée back home.
