Bottom of the 9th

After a confrontation with a local gang results in an accidental fatality, a once-promising baseball player spends the next 17 years in prison. Upon his release, he seeks redemption, landing a job assisting his former minor league baseball coach, rekindling his old relationship and maybe even getting a second chance to play his way back to the major leagues.
