Things look bad for Billy the Kid (Buster Crabbe) and his pals Fuzzy (Al St. John) and Jeff (Bud McTaggart). They're about to be executed for crimes they didn't commit, but they manage to escape, only to discover a group of impostors is perpetrating those misdeeds and pinning them on the heroes. Determined to clear their names and stop the madness, Billy and friends align with Sheriff John Masters (Ted Adams) to stop the conniving Boss Stanton (Glenn Strange), who's running the whole operation.
