How to sign up and watch MyFree DIRECTV

If you’ve never had DIRECTV or you’re a former customer, it’s easy to sign up for DIRECTV’s free premium TV experience.

Important note: If you’re a current DIRECTV customer, you won’t be able to sign up for MyFree DIRECTV. You already have access to all the content on MyFree DIRECTV.

  • If you’re a DIRECTV via Internet customer, all the channels on MyFree DIRECTV are available on your TV.
  • If you’re a DIRECTV via Satellite customer, just download the DIRECTV app and sign in with your existing credentials—you get all the MyFree DIRECTV channels and more!

If you’ve never had DIRECTV or are a former customer, signing up and watching MyFree DIRECTV is quick and easy. Here’s how.

   Sign Up

  • Go to directv.com/myfree-directv or download the DIRECTV App on your smart TV or from any app store.
  • Sign up with your email address, first and last name, and a password.
  • If you’re a former DIRECTV customer, use your DIRECTV email and password for the best experience.
  • If you’re a former DIRECTV customer, and own a Gemini/Gemini Air device you will be presented the option to start watching MyFree again. On the screen in your device, just click Start Watching. It’s that simple!

  • There’s no charge, no credit checks, and no obligation.
  • Sign into the DIRECTV App and watch for free on your smart TV, tablet, cell phone or computer. You can also sign in and watch for free online at DIRECTV.com. For any issues signing in, visit Manage your DIRECTV user ID or password.

Important note: You may have been offered a free trial for DIRECTV service. This is different from MyFree DIRECTV. Free trials are for a limited period and convert to a paid service. MyFree DIRECTV doesn’t expire and will always be free of charge.
