How do I check what receiver model I have?
Press and hold INFO on your DIRECTV remote control until the Info & Test screen appears on your TV. Your model number displays next to Receiver. You can also check the bottom or back of your DVR receiver.
Why are some of my recordings not available to stream in the app?
Recorded content available to stream are subject to restrictions and we’re working to increase availability. Many channels have HD and SD versions – make sure you schedule recordings using the HD channel.
Why is the DVR playlist in my app empty?
If you have an HR44, HR54, or HS17 it may take up to 24 hours for your DVR playlist to appear in the app if you are using the app for the first time or have not used the app in over six months.
If you have an HR22, HR24, HR34, or H44 make sure you are connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your DVR receiver.
If you have a combination of older/newer equipment, only the playlist from your HR44, HR54, or HS17 is assessable in the app. To switch receiver in the app, go to Settings > Preferences > Recording Options > Receiver and change your selection to a supported receiver.
Why am I only able to stream part of my recording?
When a recording is changed in the app while it’s airing, for example when you change the start or end time of a recording that currently in progress, a new recording is created in your DVR receiver. You will be able to watch each recording segment using the DVR receiver – but only the first recording is available to stream in the app.
