ViX Premium through DIRECTV
Learn how to get and access ViX Premium with ads through DIRECTV plus support and app info.
ViX Premium is a streaming service dedicated to the of the best Spanish-language programming. The one-stop destination for movies, reality shows, comedies, live news, the largest soap opera library and the home of soccer.
DIRECTV offers the following ViX Premium plan:
- ViX Premium (with ads) is included with the MiEspanol - Genre Pack.
- Not currently available as an add-on to other base packages.
If you sign up for ViX Premium (with ads) through DIRECTV, it won't automatically replace any existing ViX subscription you might have. To avoid additional charges, you'll need to cancel your existing ViX Premium subscription.
How to get ViX Premium through DIRECTV
- Select MIEspanol Genre Pack.
- After signing up or switching to the qualifying package, you'll receive a welcome email with information on how to access the ViX app or vix.com.
Sign-in and watch ViX Premium with ads
- Download the ViX app through your DIRECTV device or other compatible device, or visit vix.com/es-es/directv
- Device set-up and compatibility information: On which devices can I watch ViX Premium?
- Connect your provider and select DIRECTV.
- Sign-in with your DIRECTV User ID and password. If the DIRECTV User ID and password is the same as the one you have with an existing ViX subscription, you must either cancel the existing subscription with ViX before accessing ViX Premium with ads through DIRECTV, or change your sign-in credentials on the separate ViX subscription before attempting to sign-in through DIRECTV.
- Set up your ViX profile and start streaming.
Troubleshoot viewing issues with ViX app
- Make sure your device is connected to the internet.
- Internet download speed can affect your viewing experience. We suggest internet download speeds: 8Mbps per stream in-home, or 2.5 to 7.5 Mbps mobile on-the-go. Test Your Internet Speed.
- Check if your device has the latest operating system.
- Check if the ViX app needs an update.
- If other apps or channels are working on your device, the issue may be isolated to the ViX app. Refer to ViX Help Center for additional information.
