The 3rd party app content carousel will now be available on DIRECTV devices. It allows you to resume app content from a carousel accessed via the “Watch Now” tab.
 

  1. Simply download the app and install it on the DIRECTV device.
  2. Sign into the app using your apps login credentials.
  3. And start watching content.
  4. If you have already completed the above steps, all you need to do is launch the app on the device.

You can find the tiles under “MY APPS: CONTINUE WATCHING” via the “Watch Now” tab.
 

Max and Disney+ are examples of apps supported. We are focusing on certifying the top 20-30 most popular apps like Paramount+ and Peacock. We will be expanding support to thousands of other apps in the Play Store in the future. So, keep an eye out!
 

Most apps supported are video streaming services, but music and gaming apps may also be supported in the future.
 

Yes, you can! There is an option within the overflow (…) menu remote control button to remove a tile from the carousel list. Click this option to remove the tile.
