DIRECTV Mix channels allow streaming customers the ability to watch multiple channels on the same screen simultaneously. Channels are offered in categories such as entertainment, sports, news, kids, and Spanish-language.
No, DIRECTV Mix channels are included in select subscription packages based on the channels they feature.
The following customers have access to the new feature:
- Customers with the Signature Entertainment and above packages that contain the mixed channels.
- Multiple Genre Packs: MySports, MyNews, MyEntertainment, Duo: MySports + MyNews, MyKids, and MiEspañol.
Please note that News Mix 2 is available to Entertainment and above subscribers and corresponding legacy packages only. It is not included in any Genre Packs.
Not at this time. To ensure the Mix channels work smoothly on all streaming devices, DIRECTV currently offers pre-selected channel combinations. We’re working on adding more customization options in the future!

The DIRECTV Mix channels include a variety of national and local mix channels. These mix channels include:
News Mix – Lets you watch CNN, Fox News Channel, BBC News, and MSNBC simultaneously on one screen.
News Mix 2 – Lets you watch Fox News, CNN, Newsmax, and NewsNation simultaneously on one screen.
Business Mix – Simultaneously shows live feeds from Bloomberg TV, Yahoo! Finance, CNBC, and Fox Business.
Kids Mix – You can watch the Disney Channel, Disney Jr., Disney XD, and Nickelodeon all at once on a single screen.
Sports Mix 2 – A special multi-view channel that puts up to four live college football/basketball networks (ESPN, FS1, SEC Network, and Big Ten Network) onto a single screen.
College Sports Mix – Combines multiple live college games and networks, such as SEC Network, ESPNU, ACC Network, and Big Ten Network, into a single screen.
Food Mix – A 4-tile mix that includes Food Network, Tastemade, America's Test Kitchen, and Sweet Escapes.
Weather Mix (2-tile) – Includes Accuweather and FOX Weather.
Weather Mix (3-tile) – Includes The Weather Channel, Accuweather, and FOX Weather.
Locals Mix – Available in select markets where DIRECTV has the rights to stream ABC, CBS FOX, and NBC local stations.
How do I switch audio within DIRECTV Mix?
DIRECTV Mix is currently available on most connected TV devices, including Gemini and Roku. It’s not yet supported on mobile devices, tablets or web browsers. We’re working to expand compatibility in the future!
You can find DIRECTV Mix channels by scrolling through the channel guide or sorting the guide alphabetically; DIRECTV Mix channels are found in the Ds. Both News Mix and News Mix 2 are located on channel 200 in the guide.
Mixed channels are marked as unrated. If your parental controls block unrated content, you need to enter your PIN to watch them.
