Manage DIRECTV billing and payments

Learn how to view your monthly bill, change your payment method, and manage autopay and paperless settings.

Satellite Dish

View your monthly bill

  1. On the Billing & Payments page, select View Bill to view your current balance, payment due date, and the amount of the last payment received.
  2. Select Billing History to view up to 24 months of recent bills

Make payment online

  1. Go to Billing & Payments.
  2. Enter the desired amount for your payment.
  3. Select the calendar icon to enter the payment date.
  4. Select one of the following saved payment methods:
    • Checking/savings account—enter your bank’s routing number and account number.
    • Credit/debit card
  5. Alternatively, you can choose to make a one-time payment method using an unsaved payment method option.
  6. Review your information and select Pay Bill to complete.

Enroll and manage autopay and paperless settings

  1. On the Billing & Payments page, select the Payment Settings tab.
  2. To sign up for autopay, go to the Autopay Settings section, select Sign up, select a payment method, and select Enroll.
    • To update the autopay payment method, select Change.
    • To update the autopay date, select Change. Note: The option to change your autopay date may not be available for all accounts.
    • To cancel autopay, select Cancel.
  3. To sign up for paperless billing, go to the Paperless Settings, review your email address on file, and select Sign up.
    • To cancel paperless billing, select Cancel.
  4. To update your email address, go to the Profile page.

Internet connection (No satellite)

Autopay and paperless settings are automatically enabled for customers streaming over the internet. Your card on file will be charged each month for hassle-free payments. You cannot cancel autopay or paperless billing. However, you can update your autopay payment method and paperless billing contact email.

View your monthly bill

  1. Go to Account Overview to view your current balance and payment due date. Note: Your monthly billing date is auto assigned and cannot be changed.
  2. To view your bill details, select View Charges.
  3. To see your past bills, select Payment History.
  4. Scroll down to the Charges and payment history section to view up to 24 months of recent bills.

Update your payment method and billing address

  1. On the Billing & Payments page, select Payment Methods.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • Enter a new debit or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover). Or
    • Add PayPal as your payment method.
    • Enter a new billing address.
  3. Agree to the autopay and DIRECTV TECH PROTECT (if applicable) terms and conditions and select Save.

Note: To ensure successful payment processing, update your billing address with your bank or card issuer before making changes in DIRECTV.

Pay via Amazon Fire TV

If you subscribed to DIRECTV via Amazon Fire TV, follow the instructions below on how to update your payment method:

  1. Sign into your account at Amazon.com.
  2. In the top right corner click Hello, (Your Name) Accounts & Lists.
  3. Then select Your Payments.
  4. From there you may add, remove, or select a card as the default payment method.

Pay via Roku

If you subscribed to DIRECTV via Roku, follow the instructions below on how to update your payment method:

  1. Sign into your account at my.roku.com.
  2. Click Update under Payment method.
  3. Enter new credit card and/or billing address, click Save.
