If you see error code 774, it means an error has been detected on your receiver's hard drive. Try resetting your receiver:

  1. Unplug your receiver's power cord from the electric outlet.
  2. Wait for 15 seconds then plug it back in.
  3. Press the Power button on the front panel of your receiver.
  4. Wait for your receiver to reboot.
