How many complimentary account does our property get?
- This depends on the contract and is specific to each property.
How can I upgrade my complimentary account?
- Not all complimentary account can upgrade their programming. To see if your account is eligible to upgrade, please sign-in to your account.
- Courtesy accounts can be upgraded at the expense of the user, visit directv.com/courtesy-services.
Our property has a complimentary U-verse account that's being converted to DIRECTV, do I have to pay for the new account?
- The U-verse video service you currently have is being discontinued and DIRECTV providing a technological upgrade with a streaming DIRECTV device.
- The upgrade comes at no cost to you.
We need more sports channels for our clubhouse; how do I add channels to my lineup?
- Visit the Google Play Store on your DIRECTV device and download the app of the provider you are looking for and subscribe. You'll have to provide a credit card.

Am I able to block certain programming from being downloaded or viewed on this account?
- Parental controls are available to block programming, learn more at Set up DIRECTV parental controls.
Can we prevent courtesy accounts from ordering Pay Per View (PPV) events?
- There are restrictions already in place to prevent external purchases.
- Courtesy accounts cannot order PPV.
I am trying to register my account, but it won't let me use my email, what do I do?
- Because the email address on file is also the username for the account, a unique email address is required for each account registration.

Devices
I need more devices than I originally thought, can I get more?
- Courtesy and B-Comp Accounts - you have the option to order (at your own cost) an additional device beyond what is included in your complimentary account.
- Each device is $120.
- Showroom accounts cannot order additional devices.
How many TVs can I use with my account?
- You can stream up to 20 TVs from a single account.
Does the DIRECTV device allow for a hardline ethernet connection?
- Yes, you can plug an ethernet cable directly into the back of the device.
Who will come out and install our DIRECTV devices?
- We do not have technician installs on the DIRECTV service. It's easy to self-install and detailed installation instructions included with the device.
Do I need a DIRECTV device to stream content?
- You do not need the device to stream on a TV. You can stream DIRECTV via the DIRECTV app on a number of compatible devices, learn more at Streaming devices compatible with DIRECTV.
How do we get our gym equipment to sync with the account?
- You can use the DIRECTV service and purchase a coax converter at a local store or retailer to connect to your gym equipment (if HDMI is not available).
- Or, if the gym equipment allows the DIRECTV app to be installed, you can simply sign-in to the app to stream from your account.

- Contact DIRECTV Owner Services at (888) 342-7288 for assistance with a replacement device.
The DIRECTV device doesn't seem to be working, what do I do?
- First confirm the device is connected to the internet, learn more at Improve your DIRECTV streaming experience.
- If your internet connection is strong, you may want to reset the device by holding down the reset button (on the side or back of the device) for 5 seconds.
- If after resetting the device you're still having issues, unplug the device, wait 30-seconds, and plug it back in.
