DIRECTV handles all requests from survivors/victims of domestic abuse with care.
If you are a victim or survivor of domestic abuse, call DIRECTV at 800-531-5000 and let us know what change you would like to do to your account.
With required documentation (e.g., customer attestation in writing, court orders, police reports, or other documentation) victims or survivors of domestic abuse can cancel their accounts without any Early Termination Fee or non-returned equipment fee.
Also, victims or survivors of domestic abuse may request to set up a separate account, following regular business process and no fee, penalty, or charge will apply.
Once the required documentation has been received, it may take up to seven business days to process your request.
Important: As a survivor or victim of domestic abuse you will not be required to:
