Disney+, Hulu Bundle through DIRECTV

Disney+ and Hulu through DIRECTV provides customers access to a streaming subscription that combines access to both the Disney+ and Hulu streaming services. Disney+ offers movies and series from Disney, Marvel, Pixar, Star Wars, and National Geographic. While Hulu offers a large library of current hits, past seasons of many TV series, hit movies, and Hulu Originals.
The Disney+ app and Hulu app require a high-speed internet connected device to stream content.
DIRECTV offers customers access to Disney + and Hulu as follows
Available only to Streaming customers without a satellite.
Disney+ (with ads)
- Disney+ (with ads) is included at no extra cost with the MyKids Genre Pack, (does not include access to Hulu programming in the Disney+ app).
- Not available as an add-on to any other package.
Disney+ Hulu bundle (with ads)
- The Disney+, Hulu bundle (with ads) is included at no extra cost with the MyEntertainment Genre Pack (with or without a Gemini device)
- The Disney+, Hulu bundle (with ads) is included at no extra cost on accounts that are in good standing on a streaming Signature package and have a Gemini from DIRECTV.
- Note: customers who did not purchase or lease devices direct from DIRECTV, e.g. via a third party such as Ebay etc. are not eligible.
- If customers return all devices, they are no longer eligible for the bundle.
- Not available as an add-on to any other package.
If you activate Disney+ (with ads) or Disney+, Hulu Bundle (with ads) through DIRECTV, it won't automatically replace any existing Disney+, Hulu subscription you might have. To avoid additional charges, you'll need to cancel your existing subscriptions. You can use the same existing sign-in ID and password if you want.
How to get Disney+ or the Disney+ Hulu bundle through DIRECTV
- Select any of the qualifying Genre Packs or order Signature Package streaming service with a Gemini device from DIRECTV.
- After signing up or switching to a qualifying package, you'll receive an email for activation which you'll need to complete before accessing either the Disney+ or Hulu apps.
- If you need to switch your package, sign-in to your account and go to My TV package, select the package and follow the prompts to complete the change.
Activate your Disney subscription through DIRECTV
- Before trying to watch Disney+ or Hulu programming you'll first need to activate your subscription.
- Select Activate Now from the activation email.
- The link takes you to the Disney website where you'll set up your Disney User ID and password, which does not need to match your DIRECTV User ID and password.
- Emails are re-sent every 7-days to eligible customers who haven't yet activated their Disney account.
- Didn't get the email? No worries, just sign-in to your account and go to My TV package, locate the Disney link and follow the prompts. You can also call 855.900.0138 for assistance.
- After activation is complete, you're ready to sign-in on the Disney app on any of your compatible devices.
I already have a Disney+ or Hulu subscription what do I do?
If you already have a Disney or Hulu subscription, select the Disney link, and sign-in with your existing Disney User ID and password. Your existing subscription will not be automatically canceled and will continue to bill. To avoid having multiple subscriptions, you'll want to manage your existing subscription: Disney+ account and billing help.
How to sign-in and watch Disney+ or Disney+, Hulu bundle programming
- The Disney+ app is preloaded on your Gemini device, or you can download the app on many compatible devices.
- Device set-up and compatibility information: Disney Supported Devices.
- Sign-in using the Disney User ID and password you created during the activation step with Disney.
I have the Disney+ Hulu bundle do I also need the Hulu app?
Most titles from the Hulu streaming library are available on the Disney+ app and website, including hit TV series, and blockbuster movies to exclusive Hulu Originals, and more. If you're looking for a particular title in the Disney+ app and not finding it, you may want to try the Hulu app. Sign in with the same Disney User ID and password.
Troubleshoot viewing issues with the Disney+ app
- Make sure your device is connected to the internet.
- Internet download speed can affect your viewing experience. We suggest these internet download speeds: 8Mbps per stream in-home, or 2.5 to 7.5 Mbps mobile on-the-go. Test Your Internet Speed
- Check if your device has the latest operating version.
- Check if the app needs an update.
- If other apps or channels are working on your device, the issue may be isolated to the Disney app. Refer to Disney+ Fix a Problem for additional information.
Where can I find my Disney Customer ID?
- If you need to contact ESPN for assistance, they may ask for your Disney Customer ID.
- To find your Disney Customer ID, just sign-in to your account and go to My TV package, locate the Disney Customer ID link.
Can I get an ad-free version of Disney+ or Hulu from DIRECTV?
- You won't be able to upgrade your no-cost subscription through DIRECTV to a no-ad version of Disney + or Hulu, but you can purchase ad-free subscriptions directly from Disney.
- You'll need to use a different email address than the email address you used for your DIRECTV offered Disney+ or Disney+, Hulu bundle.
How is Disney+ different than the Disney channels included in my package?
