• It's that simple, and you don't need to provide payment information to sign up!
• Some compatible devices may also give the option to sign up by scanning a QR code displayed on their TV screen.

I'm currently paying DIRECTV how do I sign up for MyFree DIRECTV?

• If you're currently paying for DIRECTV service, there's no need to sign up for MyFree DIRECTV.
• All Genre Pack customers and customers on Signature ENTERTAINMENT or OPTIMO MAS and above already have access to all the channels available with MyFree DIRECTV as listed in MyFree DIRECTV channel lineup. 
• Note: Satellite customers must download the DIRECTV app to a compatible device, and sign-in with your DIRECTV User ID and Password to access MyFree DIRECTV's channels.

I'm a former DIRECTV customer, how do I sign up for MyFree DIRECTV?

• If you own a Gemini or Gemini Air you're presented an option to start watching MyFree DIRECTV, just click Start Watching on your screen.
• Alternatively, you can sign-in to your Account Overview and select Sign Up under Get MyFree DIRECTV.
• If you cancelled within the last 12 months, you can use your same DIRECTV User ID and password for the best experience.
• MyFree DIRECTV doesn't expire and will always be free of charge.
• By clicking Start Watching, you agree to sign up and accept our terms and conditions.

Having trouble signing up for MyFree DIRECTV?

• Make sure you're not already a current paid DIRECTV customer (sign up isn't needed).
• Check your email to see if you received a one-time PIN to verify your email address.
• If all else fails, attempt to sign up with a different email address.

• Former customers with paid service are not able to access their prior recordings. If you resubscribe to a package and your recordings have not expired, you'll be able to access them again. Titles expire after 9-months.

Can I watch sports with MyFree DIRECTV?

• Select sports channels are available to stream 24/7 with DIRECTV’s free TV offer. Go to MyFree DIRECTV channel lineup to see all available channels.

Can I upgrade from MyFree DIRECTV to a paid package?

• If you're a former DIRECTV customer within the last 12 months, just sign into your Account Overview with your DIRECTV User ID and password and select either Explore new packages or Restart former service.
