How to pay your DIRECTV bill
Learn how to make a payment online, or over the phone, or by mail.
Note: For customers streaming over the internet, autopay is automatically enabled. Your card on file will be charged each month for hassle-free payments.

Pay DIRECTV bill online at directv.com
- Go to Account Overview or Billing & Payments.
- Select the Pay Bill button.
- Select the calendar icon to enter the payment date.
- You may be able to select a future date for your payment, no more than 60 days, based on your account standing.
- Select one of the following saved payment methods:
- Checking/savings account—enter your bank’s routing number and account number.
- Credit/debit card
Note: You can add or update your payment method at any time. Under the Payment Method section, select the Add or Change button next to the payment method (for example bank account, credit/debit card) you want to manage. Alternatively, you can choose to make a one-time payment method using the unsaved payment method option.
- Review your information and select Pay Bill to complete.
Good to know:
You can update your payment method anytime by going to the Payment Method section and selecting Add or Change next to your bank account, or credit, or debit card. To make a payment without signing in, visit Pay without signing in and select DIRECTV. Although split payments are no longer supported, if your account is in good standing, you can still make partial payments using multiple payment methods.
To pay your DIRECTV bill using the Bill Pay option via your bank's website or mobile app:
- Sign in to your bank's website or mobile app.
- Find the Bill Pay or Pay Bill option.
- Select Add Payee or Add New Account for first time set-up.
- Select DIRECTV from the list or add DIRECTV manually.
- Select or enter the PO BOX listed on your DIRECTV bill as the Payee Address.
- Enter the account number from your DIRECTV bill, excluding hyphens and spaces.
This allows you to control when to send DIRECTV payments.
You may prefer to pay directly to our bank account from your bank account.
If you use this option, please update the payment instructions using the new DIRECTV routing and account number listed below to ensure your future DIRECTV payments are applied correctly without any delays. These banking details are to be used only to submit payments and do not replace your DIRECTV Billing Account Number as shown on your bill.

How to Submit DIRECTV Payments Correctly
- Always include your DIRECTV Billing Account Number, which appears on your bill, with each payment.
- Do not use the DIRECTV Bank Account Number as your billing account number.
Supporting Payment Information
If needed, you may also send payment details separately via email to DIRECTV at paymentremittance@mydirectv.com; include the following:
- First and Last Name
- DIRECTV Billing Account Number (must be included with each payment)
- Payment Date
- Payment Amount (must be included with each payment)
3rd Party Payments
If you use a 3rd party to submit payments to DIRECTV, you do not need to make any changes.
- Call 800.531.5000 and say “make a payment” when prompted to pay using our automated system.
- When making a payment with an agent a one-time processing fee of $5 may apply.
Pay by USPS mail
Send a check or money order in the pre-addressed envelope included with your monthly statement. If you don’t have the pre-addressed envelope, mail your payment (including your 9-digit DIRECTV account number) to:

To pay your bill with cash or money order in person, visit any of the following authorized payment partners for more info:
Internet connection (No satellite)
Autopay and paperless settings are automatically enabled for customers streaming over the internet. Your card on file is charged each month for hassle-free payments. You cannot cancel autopay or paperless billing; however, you can update your autopay payment method and paperless billing contact email. To update your autopay payment method, go to your Account Overview page and select Payment Methods. To update your paperless billing contact email, select Profile.
