Manage your autopay settings
DIRECTV makes it simple to manage your autopay settings. You cannot cancel a payment in progress but depending on your account, you may be able to change the autopay payment method, autopay date, or cancel the autopay enrollment.

Autopay and paperless settings are automatically enabled for customers streaming over the internet. Your card on file will be charged each month for hassle-free payments. You cannot cancel autopay or paperless billing. However, you can update your autopay payment method and paperless billing contact email.
Update your payment method and billing address
- On the Account Overview page, select Payment Methods.
- Do one of the following:
- Enter a new debit or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover). Or
- Add PayPal as your payment method. Note: Paying with a bank account (ACH) is currently not allowed for customers streaming over the internet.
- Enter your billing address associated with your payment method. This will be used as your DIRECTV service address.
- Agree to the autopay and DIRECTV TECH PROTECT (if applicable) terms and conditions and select Save.
Note: To ensure successful payment processing, update your billing address with your bank or card issuer before making changes in DIRECTV.
