DIRECTV offers discovery+ as a standalone add-on

• discovery+ is available as an add-on for Satellite and streaming customers, with some exceptions.
• Not available to customers who stream DIRECTV with a Signature Package who also pay by Roku, or any customers with Genre Packs.
• discovery+ through DIRECTV requires an internet connected device, including customers with Satellite receivers.
• discovery+ programming can be streamed on a Gemini, an internet connected HD-DVR, via the DIRECTV app on a compatible device or on directv.com. 
• discovery+ through DIRECTV does not provide access to the discovery+ app.

If you sign-up for discovery+ through DIRECTV, it won't automatically replace any existing discovery+ subscription you might have. To avoid additional charges, you'll need to cancel your existing discovery+ subscription.

 

Order discovery+ through DIRECTV

• Sign-in to your account and go to My TV Package.
• Locate discovery+, make selection and Add, then follow the prompts.
• The monthly charge auto-renews through DIRECTV at the current monthly rate, and you can cancel anytime.

Ways to watch discovery+ through DIRECTV

• You don't need a separate discovery+ account or additional sign-in to access programming.
• Customers with Satellite receivers, you'll find discovery+ on channel 1196 in your guide (internet connected HD-DVR required).
• Streaming customers without a Satellite, you'll find discovery+ on your Gemini or compatible device under the On Demand menu, select Networks, locate and select discovery+.
• All customers, including Satellite, with a discovery+ subscription can access programming on the DIRECTV app or on directv.com, under the  On Demand menu, select Networks, locate and select discovery+.

Heads up: Not all On Demand content can be played immediately. It’s subject to network availability.
