Change or update Auto Bill Pay payment info

Use a new payment method, choose a different stored payment method, or update a debit or credit card’s expiration date.

Update Auto Pay payment info

  1. Go to My Bills & Transactions.
  2. Select Auto Bill Pay.
  3. If you want to add a new payment method, select Use another credit or debit card.
   If you want to change your checking account, select Use another checking account.
  1. Enter the updated info and select Done to submit.
Note: Your newly selected payment method may take effect on your next bill. Changing your payment method may also affect your selected Auto Bill Pay date.

When your Auto Pay update takes effect

  • If the payment method you choose is the same payment type as before, the update takes effect immediately. (Example: Updating from one checking account to another.)
  • If the payment method you choose is a different payment type, the change may take up to 2 business days. Until the change is complete, we’ll make automatic payments using your previous card or bank account. (Example: Using a debit card and change to a checking account.)
