Error code 763 means your receiver's access card has expired.

Insert new access card

If you see error code 763, it means your receiver's access card has expired. If you have received a new access card in the mail, follow these steps:
  1. Open the access card door on the front panel of your receiver and remove the old access card. On some receiver models, the access card slot is on the right side of the receiver.
  2. Insert the new access card. The chip should be facing down with the logo or picture facing up.

If you’re still seeing the error message, try refreshing your receiver.

Still seeing the error message? Follow the steps below and reset your receiver.

Reset your receiver

  1. Unplug your receiver's power cord from the electrical outlet, wait for 15 seconds, and plug it back in.
  2. Press the Power button on the front panel of your receiver. Wait for your receiver to reboot.
  3. Refresh your receiver again.
