Add apps to your DIRECTV device

Your DIRECTV device includes preloaded apps like Max, NETFLIX, Pandora, and more. But if you don’t see what you want, you can add your own. Choose from video, music, and gaming apps. Here’s how:

1. Press the APPS or Diamond button on your DIRECTV remote.
2. Go to the Google Play^TM store.
3. Sign in to your Google account. If you’re already signed in, you won’t have to do it again.
4. Search for the app you want and download it.
