We collect, use and share information to deliver the video products and services you know and love. Whether it is new programming or a special offer that might interest you or simply to deliver your bill, information helps us provide you with the best customer experience possible.

The CCPA gives California residents additional choices about how their personal information is used and shared. Specifically, residents can:

  • Request deletion of information that is linked to you.

    The law lets California residents see the information collected about them. It lets them tell companies to delete their information, or not to sell their information. DIRECTV has always provided a level of transparency, choice, and control to customers.
    If you’re happy with your online experience, you don’t need to take any actions. Your access to online services and websites is not changing as a result of the new law.
    If you are a California resident and we verify your identity, we’ll send you an Access Report. It will contain items linked to you, like data about your services with us and marketing information.
    Yes. We’re implementing California’s new privacy rules for California residents. You can see marketing and privacy options at our
    Privacy Center . This includes the ability to opt in for some programs or say no to others.

    We’ll work as quickly as possible. If you live in California, we’re required to give you a data report within 45 days. It may take 90 days if we find we need more time - but we'll be sure to let you know.

    A do-not-sell request may prevent us from sharing some data between DIRECTV companies, like AT&T and WarnerMedia. For example, we make these transfers to bring you special offers, like an offer for HBO Max.
