Characters show bravery in face of racial injustice, but series focuses more on the hate directed at them than how they fight it.

Characters are threatened with guns and shot at. Monsters graphically attack humans, resulting in lots of blood and gore. A man transforms into a monster before being rammed by a car. Black characters are frequently harassed and threatened for their race.

Partial nudity (a man's bare buttocks) is shown during oral sex. Sexual intercourse is seen and heard, sans nudity.

"F--k," "s--t," as well as other profanity -- "ass," "bastard," "hell" -- used. Racial slurs, including the "N" word, and other bigoted taunts are frequently directed at Black characters.
