Football. Is. Back. The NFL season is upon us, and while the Eagles won the Super Bowl, the world did not actually end!
You are getting the emails from your fantasy commissioner, ESPN is filled with stories about who is and isn’t reporting to camp, and thoughts of Sundays at your local watering hole are dancing in your head. With preseason underway, we decided to take a look at some of the most intriguing games of the 2018 NFL season:
Patriots @ Jaguars (Week 2):
A rematch of last year’s AFC Championship game heads the list of top games. The Jaguars came ever so close to knocking off the juggernaut Patriots. The young upstart Jags now have a year of success under their belts and will look to use that experience to take the next step to becoming the top team in the AFC.
Jets @ Browns (Week 3):
No, this is not a typo. Yes, both teams have been terrible. Yes, both teams have had their share of disfunction. Yes… ok ok, let me stop. This early season matchup could very well pit the top 2 QBs taken in the draft. Baker Mayfield vs Sam Darnold. Here’s hoping both these teams decide to start their rookie QBs. The future is now for these guys. Nothing to lose starting them.
Vikings @ Eagles (Week 5):
The NFC Championship rematch will have a little different look to it, and that is Kirk Cousins will be involved. The Vikings will show off their shiny new QB as they head back to the scene of the crime: the 38-7 drubbing in last year’s title game. The Eagles are stacked again, but one question that looms over them: Who will be their QB? Last year’s MVP candidate Carson Wentz or Super Bowl hero Nick Foles?

Eagles @ Jaguars (Week 8):
Possibly the two best defenses in the league will play across the pond in legendary Wembley Stadium. If someone told you 10 years ago, the Jaguars and Eagles would be playing in London, in a possible Super Bowl preview, you would probably want them committed. But…here we are!
Eagles @ Rams (Week 15):
Arguably the two best teams in the NFC will meet near the end of the year which could very well be for the #1 seed in the conference. The Rams fell short last season after being upset in round 1 in the playoffs, while the Eagles… let’s not speak of that. Anyway, this could be the most important game of the regular season and have the most implications regarding playoff seedings.
