The Washington Wizards finished the 2022-2023 season with 35 wins, ending up third out of five in the Southeast Conference. The first NBA In-Season Tournament begins on November 3, 2023, and will last until the championship game on December 9, 2023. All 30 teams will compete in the first round of Group Play; the winner of each group will move onto the single-elimination Knockout Round. 

The Washington Wizards have been designated as East Group B and will compete against the follow teams:

  1. Charlotte Hornets
  2. Milwaukee Bucks
  3. New York Knicks
  4. Miami Heat


In-Season Tournament games will take place on Fridays and Tuesdays starting on November 3rd. The Wizards’ schedule is as follows:

  • Fri., November 3, 2023: Wizards vs. Heat @ 8:00 pm ET
  • Fri., November 10, 2023: Wizards vs. Charlotte @ 7:00 pm ET
  • Fri., November 17, 2023: Wizards vs. Knicks @ 7:00 pm ET
  • Tues., November 28, 2023: Wizards vs. Bucks @ 8:00 pm ET
