Toronto Maple Leafs 2023-24 TV Schedule, Roster & Watch Info

The Toronto Maple Leafs showed promise during the 2022-2023 season, and fans are hoping the team can capitalize on it and move up the ranks this NHL season. Will the Maple Leafs be able to improve their record? Check out the 2023-2024 Toronto Maple Leafs schedule, roster and more below.

And find out how to watch the team play this season through DIRECTV.

The Toronto Maple Leafs were originally founded as the Toronto Arena in 1917. The Leafs are one of the NHL’s “Original Six” teams along with the Boston Bruins, Chicago Blackhawks, Detroit Red Wings, Montreal Canadiens and New York Rangers. Their 13 Stanley Cup championships are the second-most in NHL history behind the Canadiens (24). Unfortunately for the team, however, the last Stanley Cup they won was in 1967.

Since then, the team has been consistently competitive in the regular season yet continue to struggle in the postseason. In fact, the 2022-2023 season was the first time the team won a playoff series since 2004, but they still didn’t get passed the first round.

The Maple Leafs play their home games at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario.

If the Maple Leafs are able to play as well as they usually do in the regular season, they should be primed to make it to the playoffs this year. The problem then becomes, how can the team ensure they make it through the first round?

The Maple Leafs have been in a period of rebuilding for a few years now, and the team – as well as its fans – are hoping that work will come to fruition this year. With the additions of Center Max Domi and Left Winger Tyler Bertuzzi, along with the re-signing of Auston Matthews, the team should have a good shot at winning the Atlantic Division. And if they can manage to play as well as they do in the regular season in the postseason, they could even be Stanley Cup contenders this season.
