Part of the Magic’s strategy is to get a quick start on the season, winning games early on to get a cushion before heading into more difficult stretches of the schedule. One way to start out strong is with the all-new NBA In-Season Tournament. There are two rounds, Group Play and the Knockout Rounds.

The Magic are up against some tough competition in East Group C, but if they play well, it will be enough for other teams to take a second look before counting them out.

The Magic will be competing against the four teams listed below in Group Play:

  1. Boston Celtics
  2. Brooklyn Nets
  3. Toronto Raptors
  4. Chicago Bulls

The In-Season Tournament will give teams a chance to show their skills at the beginning of the season, something the Magic could certainly benefit from. Below is the team’s schedule for Group Play.

Tues., November 14, 2023: Magic vs. Nets @ 7:30pm EST

Fri., November 17, 2023: Magic vs. Bulls @ 8:00pm EST

Tues., November 21, 2023: Magic vs. Raptors @ 7:00pm EST
