Nashville Predators 2023-2024 Schedule & How to Watch Games

How will the Nashville Predators perform in the 2023-2024 NHL season? With some unexpected moves during the off-season, fans aren’t totally sure what the Predators will bring to the ice. Check out the 2023-2024 Nashville Predators schedule, roster and more below. Plus, find out how to watch Nashville games live with DIRECTV.

NASHVILLE PREDATORS HISTORY

The Nashville Predators were founded in 1998 and are part of the Central Division. The Predators, commonly referred to as the “Preds,” have played at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, since entering the NHL as an expansion franchise.

The team is called the Predators and have a sabretooth tiger as their logo because of Tennessee’s history. Back in 1971 the city of Nashville discovered a partial fossil of an ancient Smilodon.

The Preds qualified for the playoffs for the first time in 2003-04 and have since qualified for the playoffs 14 more times in their 24 seasons. They reached the Stanley Cup Final for the first time in 2017, but unfortunately couldn’t take home the win. The Predators lost to the Pittsburgh Penguins in six games.

Since 2017, however, the Predators have been unable to make it past the first round of the playoffs.
