The Los Angeles Clippers were established in 1970 and are part of the Pacific Division. The franchise started out as the Buffalo Braves. While in Buffalo, Hall of Famer Bob McAdoo led the Braves to the NBA playoffs three times. They moved to San Diego in 1978, adopting the Clipper name as a nod to San Diego Bay’s many sailing ships. The Clippers relocated to Los Angeles in 1984. The Clippers play their home games at Crypto.com Arena, located in Los Angeles, California.
