While you're waiting for your DIRECTV System to be installed, you should decide which programming package you'd like to sign up for.

On the day of your installation appointment, make sure the account holder (at least 18 years of age) will be home to set up your service. Once your system is installed, the installer will call our customer service center for you; then we'll ask you which programming package you've selected and other required activation questions.
