Q: What are Mix Channels?
A: A Mix Channel is one channel that displays up to six live feeds of other channels in a category.
Q: Where can I watch the Mix Channels?
A: Currently, there are three different Mix Channels on DIRECTV® programming. They are the News Mix on channel 102,
the Sports Mix on channel 104, and the Kids Mix on channel 111.
Q: Who receives the Mix Channels?
A: All DIRECTV customers who subscribe to the TOTAL CHOICE package and above will be able to enjoy the Mix Channels.
Q: Can you click on the small channel within the Mix Channel to see the full screen?
A: With some receivers you can tune to a channel by clicking on it, but most receivers require you to tune into the channel as you normally would.
Q: Can I change the Mix?
A: No. It’s an automatic feed that is controlled through the broadcast just like any other channel.
Q: Why does the Mix change?
A: DIRECTV controls the channel mix as programming changes for each channel.
Q: Is the Sports Mix Channel subject to blackout rules?
A: Yes. If one of the channels has a game that is blacked out in a particular area, the entire Sports Mix Channel
is not able to be viewed in that area. |
