There, under the guidance of Father O'Houlihan, he learned the football fundamentals that would catapult him to super stardom. Along the way, Mike developed a fierce determination, a relentless work ethic and a strong dislike for the word "no." With the same commitment and focus that made him a celebrated quarterback, Tahoe will ruthlessly hunt down his man. And if you stand in his way, you'd better be prepared to face the consequences. This is one football cop who didn't join the force to play games.

Behind the calm façade of C.J. Hunter is a powder keg that's primed to blow. Left in a basket on the doorstep of the Morristown Home for Wayward boys, C.J. grew up in the shadow of local golden boy, Mike Tahoe. But Hunter plays second fiddle to no man, and soon his star from shining just as brightly as Tahoe's. He even became the second orphaned boy from Morristown to quarterback a big league football team. He has proven himself by overcoming adversity, time and time again. But now that he's back in the old neighborhood, it's getting harder and harder to keep those demons from the past at bay. Will he use his power as a cop for good, or to settle old scores? Only time will tell.

Candi LeTrelle (stunning newcomer Catherine Locardi) has known Tahoe and Hunter since childhood. But while they went off to illustrious football careers, she sank deeper and deeper into a life of crime and prostitution. Is she too far gone to save? Not if the Football Cops have anything to say about it.
LENNY CRUISE
Walker Hare
No one plays both sides of the law as expertly as Lenny Cruise (Walker Hare). He's Tahoe and Hunter's best informant, when he bothers to tell the truth. Only one thing is certain about Lenny: he's smarter, and far more dangerous, than the Football Cops realize.
ORLANDO MIDNIGHT
Archie Manning
When it comes to defense attorneys, Orlando Midnight (Archie Manning) is as slick as they come. He's smart, charismatic and incredibly well connected. He's also not afraid to bend a few rules, especially if it will make life harder for Tahoe and Hunter.
