Remote Control Overview
Mode Switch - In the DIRECTV position, controls your receiver, TV and other equipment.
TV Power On & Off - If your receiver turns off while the TV turns on, press TV Power On until they are back in sync.
List - To Do List of programs scheduled for purchase.
Exit - Returns you to DIRECTV programming.
Select and Navigation - Navigate the Guide with the select and arrow keys.
Menu - Settings and many useful features.
Info - Current channel and program information.
Channel Up/Down - Change channels, and page up/down in the Guide, Quick Menu and other screens.
Guide - Displays the onscreen programming guide.
Active - Accesses DIRECTV services, news and information.
Function Keys - Available after you've programmed your remote to control other equipment. If you have a DVR, you can pause live TV.
TV Input - Cycles through different inputs to your television.
Power Key - Your DIRECTV Remote can operate alternate devices. See Getting Started card for your remote codes.
